Natasha Stojanovska, piano: Upcoming CD Promotion

Natasha Stojanovska, pianist and composer

Natasha Stojanovska, pianist and composer

Dear Friends,

For those of you who do not know me, I am a Macedonian Classical Pianist, currently finalizing my Doctorate  Degree in Piano Performance from Northwestern University, Bienen School of Music.

I am putting together a CD  with works by women composers from the Balkan and former Soviet Republics including Russia, Poland, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia. The composers include Maria Szymanowska, Grażyna Bacewicz, Ljubica Marić,  Zara Levina, Dora Pejačević, and Bojana Petrovich Aleksova.  In addition, I will include two of my own original compositions, influenced by native Macedonian folk music.

I would love to count on your donations in partial support of this innovative project. This CD will represent the first  professional  recording for most of the pieces in this collection.   Your contribution will assist in securing the scores, researched booklet notes, and the best sound engineering for the CD, in the pursuit of the highest artistic level this music deserves. My goal is to bring the works of these composers  to the awareness of other pianists, and raise awareness of their musical merit and artistic power.  More importantly, I hope to bring you a wonderful musical discovery.  A gift of a  CD for each of you will follow.

My goal is to complete this  project by December of 2019.

Please feel free to check out samples  from the CD preparation, recorded by Richard Bolton
